On it's way to me..
The minute I saw it, I had to have it. Zara had one just like it a while ago, but I was too late. I just placed my order, so hope it will get here soon!
Sorry for my lack of posts these past 2 weeks, I still need to adjust to 'work mode' again. I guess I never mentioned that I work at the administration office of a university and now is the busiest time of the year! New students coming and students graduating. I've been coming home and going straight to bed the past few days, but today is my day off so I finally have time to rest and blog again.
For all students starting school again: good luck this semester/year!

OOTD: Colored pants
I welcome summer back again!! Well, not completely 'cause as I'm writing this, it's already raining again. But... I have high hopes for this week! It will be better. It has to, I will be back to work again in two weeks, after having stayed at home with my little girl for 5 months! So I want my 'last days' to be sunny and bright so I can enjoy them to the fullest. I hope you guys are all enjoying your summer (holiday)!
Anyway, to the outfit, I could finally part with my Mi Moneda necklace, which I wear a lot, so I thought I'd give it a break (once!). And don't you just love colored pants? I know I do... I also added an extra shot of my 'arm candy' for the Bloggers Do It Better Arm Party Challenge. Are you also participating?

Fashizblack magazine
Introducing Fashizblack, an online fashion magazine based in France and created by three entrepreneurs. The idea for their magazine was born because they couldn't identify themselves with the magazines already out there; western magazines didn't focus on diversity, while afro magazines missed the global essence.
Since launching their magazine three years ago, it has been very succesful and even became France's #1 online fashion magazine! Although the title may lead to believe the magazine is meant for 'black people' ONLY (it is however dedicated to the black community), they most of all want to be global and cater to everyone, regardless of skin color AND sex.
With everything going so well, creating a first glossy print issue was the next step. They're planning to launch this first issue in January 2012, but they need our help. Since funding an independent fashion magazine is not cheap, they started a campaign to raise the needed funds. Please click HERE for more information about their kickstarter campaign and how you can contribute.

The magazine covers everything; fashion, beauty and also culture. I believe this magazine would truly be an addition to the 'Mag-O-sphere', and it should not go to waste. So, check out their website and see how you can help out!
