Pink Fluff

It´s sooo fluffy!!

Do I dare? Match pink with purple? Of course! Sometimes, you musn't overthink things too much. And with a banging coat like this one, the rest of the outfit is actually of no importance. This coat was a great gift I got from my blogging buddy Nefferth, so sweet of her!

Let me break it down quick: Nefferth also works for an organization that organizes "Vintage Per Kilo" events. So, you don't pay per item, but per kilograms of vintage goodies you buy! Great or what?! She has acces to the best there is to find when it comes to vintage items, in plus sizes too!

Needless to say I'm very happy she got her hands on this fluffy number. Thanks a lot babe!

White Out

I love all white looks and I would wear it more often if I wasn't so messy. There's just something about me that screams "MESS IT UP" whenever I wear an all white ensemble. All of a sudden I can't eat like a normal person and get food all over it, ugh! Does that sound familiar to you? Anyway, when I saw this suit I decided that I would not let myself get in the way of wearing it and I'm glad I did! It's been a while since I wore a complete suit and this one is just amazing! The pants give it a little twist, which I absolutely love. How do you feel about rocking all white outfits?

Side note: I didn't mess up this time. HA! How you like me now?!

Grazia Fashion Shoot

So yeah, this happened...

I kept it a secret surprise but a little over a month ago I was approached by Grazia magazine to work on a fashion shoot with them! As Grazia is one of my favorite magazines, I was more than happy to work with them, this was a dream for me to come true! I've never professionally modeled before but everyone really made me feel comfortable, they were so nice (and the photographer was so cute)! I had a great day, thank you to all involved!

The concept of the article was to show that size does not matter and that you can rock trends, whether you're a size 6 (fellow blogger Suzanne) or a 16. This article focused on the trends for this Spring and Summer and I really love the outcome, a six(!) page spread!!!

"Rocking" sequins

How Rock and Roll am I?! :)

As I'm drawn to all things shiny and sparkly, this skirt immediately drew my attention. Colored sequins? Helloooooo! Me ALL over (if you look close enough, you"ll see that the sequins spell out my name). If you're subscribed to my YouTube channel, you've already seen this gem in my haul video.

Coming to think of it, this look could have also passed for an Easter look, with a Rock feel. The sequinned print on the skirt reminds me of an embellished Fabergé egg. How fancy!

Fresh and Sweet

I've already mentioned in a previous post that my color palette for Spring would involve a lot of pastel colors, one of the trends for this season. I thought combining these two colors matched perfectly with Easter, I think it looks fresh and sweet ^_^. This dress has the perfect silhouette and the little sheer strip gives it something playful as well. And the coat... I was determined to get a powder pink coat and I've found the perfect one! This has a "boyfriend fit" and is very light, great for Spring!

Waking up to this news was the best surprise! To be really honest, I have never been so excited about a H&M designer collaboration as this one.

H&M announced the news yesterday during a special AlexanderWangxHM party at Coachella Music Festival. This collaboration will be the first H&M collaboration with an American designer. The collection will feature womens and mens apparel and accessoiries. It's set to drop on November 6th and will be available online and in 250 stores worldwide. Ladies and gents, start saving!!!

In Bloom...

Spring has sprung!

This morning felt like a Disney movie! I woke up to birds "tjirping" and sunshine on my face. With Spring being so obviously present, I had to wear something floral. We went outside to take a walk with our daughter and got to see sheep with their little lambs. With this outfit, I could fit right in with the scenery!
