Poppies & Daisies


I'm not that big of a flower expert but I believe the flowers on this dress are poppies and daisies, perfect for Spring. In case they're not, please don't hurt me! :)

Yellow is always a great color for me to up my mood and when I found this dress online, I knew I had to have it. The dress is from the "straight size" line of H&M (link at the end of this post) but it looked so big and frumpy on the model that I decided to give it a shot. FYI, I ordered the largest size and it's even a little big on me too. I actually had to belt it and use pins for a better fitted look. Either way, I love the way it came out.

    You look SO amazing! I'm wearing an old H&M straight-size flutter-sleeve dress right now -- gift from a US size 12 friend for whom it was a little big -- but I never would have thought to (duh) shop online for the looser stuff, because going into the store is such a demoralizing exercise I never do it. You inspired me to go online and I got two dresses (and there was an online code for 20% off and free shipping, so yay!) Thank you!

      Wauw wat een verschil! Ik heb net in de H&M shop gekeken en die jurk ziet er niet uit op het model, zo curve-loos. Het staat je echt beeldig. Ik ga 'm kopen!
